Im looking to buy the Sims 3, but all expansions and stuff packs (including islands). However, I cant find a place where I can buy the complete collection of The Sim 3.Will I have to find them individually, or is there a complete collection link, where I can buy the games, and have my own unused codes I dont want a pirated site, I want a legit, legal link.
I have the Sims 4 on an account I share with my sister, we purchased games together while we were living with our parents, and Im tired of being kicked offline, so, Im getting everything situated. The best thing to do is pick up the expansions during the Origin sales as they are often at a great price then. Doesnt hurt to ask. I found it on a key site for like 3, so I snagged it, just in case I want to do something like a witch in a candy house trying to lure children using Supernatural. If you only buy a few games a year to begin with its really not that different considering you likely have hundreds of hours in it too. Report Save level 1 2 years ago edited 2 years ago So is it possible to buy some DLC through Steam and then activate it in Origin where the base game and the rest of my DLC are edit: Thanks.:) Have ALMOST all the stuff packs now. Sad the world DLCs (Monte Vista, Dragon Valley, etc.) arent on Steam and on sale. I bought my games from steam and was able to redeem them through Origin. Report Save level 1 2 years ago Perhaps this should all be resold as The Sims 3: Complete collection in near future and The Sims 3: Complete Collection Gold, containing all Store content 44 share Report Save level 2 2 years ago Making this game containing all of the store content will probably be a challange for them. Store content installs like a CC, except all sims3pack files are signed for your account. The only way I can see them including everything from the Store without making us installing it seperately using the already existing method, is integrating it into the base game, or make it a big giant expansion pack which can easily be recognized by the base game. Existing EPs and SPs shouldnt be a problem because they are already handled by the existing code. Of course they could put all of them in one single Sims3Pack file, which not only possibly make its size too large to be a single file, I believe it would also cause stability problems with the base game, because EPs and SPs are handled better than CC. I am not an expert at programming (and I assume everything here because I of course do not have the source code) but this seems like one hell of a job to pull of. And I am not even talking about the capability of devs who put together 1.69 update. It would certainly need someone of higher programming ability, preferably from old TS3 team because they already have experience with this code. Sims 3 is still a solid seller, and while theyre continuing to make good money from selling it as it is, theyre not going to be inclined to put it into a Complete Collection, especially as those are usually lower prices, and as you can see here, even a 75 discount is around 100 for the full set. If they sell it for 40, thats a steep discount, and likely means theyre not making as much profit as they could be. Hey, Id love it to happen (could talk some other people I know into trying it), but right now EAs got no reason to do it. That would literally be worth thousands of dollars, not to mention the games stability would go straight to hell. They already recommend only playing with a few packs installed, never mind any of the store stuff.
